グローバル化と情報化が急速に進む現在、国や言語、文化の垣根を超えて、あらゆる分野で国際性や異文化への理解が求められ、変化に対応するグローバル人材が必要とされています。学生の皆さんが留学や海外研修、国際的なボランティア活動などを通して、異文化と出会い、その背後にある人々の歴史や世界観といったものに深い感受性を育むことは、皆さんの大学生活をより充実したものにするだけではなく、皆さん個人のまた社会人としての皆さんの人生を豊かにするものです。
国際交流支援室では、中国、アメリカ、フィンランド、韓国、スロベニア、ロシア、オーストラリア等の海外の提携大学との学術交流や学生の交換留学?海外研修を積極的に支援しています。これまでの交換留学?海外研修プログラムの資料や情報を提示すると共に、留学の相談、留学経験者との情報交換や留学に関わる諸手続の支援など、留学に関する様々な業務を行っています。

本学で長年にわたり英語教育に携わっています。専門分野は英語学。学生の皆さんが留学や海外研修によって自らの視野を広め、異文化に目覚め、客観的に自分自身や日本という国を見つめなおし、強くしなやかなグローバル精神を養っていくことを願っています。支援室に来て気軽に声をかけて下さい。その一歩があなたの世界を変える可能性がありますよ！
Specializing in English linguistics, I have worked for many years in the English education department. My wish is for all students to study abroad and gain a greater outlook on life, see different cultures, objectively see themselves and Japan, and gain a flexible global sense. ブライアン講師は言語学専攻し、ポートランド州立大学を卒業しました。その後、10年以上仙台に住んでいて、本学では英語クラスを教えながら、国際交流支援室では主に韓国関連の手続きを行っています。趣味は、音楽、アウトドア、料理です。
I specialize in linguistics. I am from Portland, Oregon, USA and have lived in Sendai for over 10 years. I currently teach English and help with coordinating international exchange programs. I enjoy playing and listening to music and also like to cook.

スーサンサンは中国出身で、高校から日本にきました。東北福祉大大学院で修士課程を修了後、国際交流センターにて事務全般と留学生の管理、支援等を行っています。好きなものは野菜、肉、好きなことは、子どもと遊んだり、掃除をすることで、大切なものは家族です。
I am from China, and have been living in Japan since I was a high school student. I am a former TFU graduate and am responsible for TFU relations with Chinese counterparts. I like eating, cleaning and playing with children. I love my family so much.

岩村綾はアメリカの大学を卒業後、福祉大大学院で修士課程を修了しました。その後、国際交流支援室にて事務全般とフィンランド関連の手続きを行っています。趣味は、映画鑑賞で、好きなものはワインとブルーチーズです。
I graduated from University in the U.S.A., and finished my master’s degree at TFU graduate school. I love watching movies, drinking a glass of wine with blue cheese, and spending time at a neat café with a cup of coffee. I am crazy about my cat.

私はロシア出身で、大学で東洋学、文化人類学を学び様々な分野の国際プロジェクトに通訳、コーディネーターとして参加しています。その知恵と経験を活かして本学の国際化のレベルアップに努めています。
I am from Russia. After studing Oriental Studies and Cultural Anthropology at the university I have been working in numerous international projects as interpretor and coordinator. Now I employ my knowledge and experience to make TFU an international player.
